I'm used to driving small cars, cars with seemingly limited storage space, storage space etc. Being something of a nomad, traveler, hiker and chronic packer at the same time, I'm surprised myself that I hadn't thought about the to use heavily unused ceiling of my car. There's so much room in it that it does nothing but fit an overhead light that I hardly ever use and a sunroof that doesn't get in the way when that thing is up. I like it because I can fit a bag of small things that usually float in front of my car and don't have to run after them. Things like pillows can also be easily folded here. If you tie it neatly enough, it somehow manages not to block your view in the rearview mirror, which is cool. I'm still digging and at the same time patting my forehead that I've never thought of anything like this. derp Hahaha!
