Durable, easy to use and lightweight. Nice box option.

We love this box and our new Jack Russell puppy does too. We have had many softboxes in the past and this is by far the best. We love the ease of use and reliability. Easily folds for portability thanks to the sturdy metal frame (not plastic). It has strong mesh for doors and side windows. For the first few days, our puppy scratched the net when we first planted it and it has held up well. The stains come off relatively easily. We bought the small size because our pup was 4lbs when we brought her home and will likely be around 15lbs when she grows up. She has room to grow. We train all of our pets in cages. We leave this drawer in the kitchen and leave it open when she's not at home and when she gets tired she disappears into this little hiding place. She loves him as much as we do. I would have no hesitation in recommending this cage, at least for a small dog. I cannot speak to the experiences of the larger race. One thing I can easily get over is that the front door has a zipper that can be zipped all the way to one side or folded in half like a suitcase. Our pup quickly found that if I used the "meet in the middle" option, he could unzip the zipper. So the full zip is for us :). If you are looking for a great heavy duty padded box keep this as an option.
