This little dress came on a cardboard hanger that can be used for a while; it was a nice plus. The skirt is plaid taffeta and the plaid matches well. An attached red satin bodice with a cute little sleeve that covers AG doll's shoulder seams. There is a long one-piece velcro strap on the back. The jacket is made of velvet with satin piping on the front button placket. The sleeves are slightly lowered and end at the elbows. The belt is made of matching fabric and closes with Velcro. It's fairly affordable and looks great on an AG doll. It fits very well.
