This works GREAT for paper backing! I use it for my 1930's farmer's blocks. It goes through my Epson printer with no problems (I tell the printer it's recycled paper), it's soft and light weight so doesn't add too much bulk, yet strong enough not to tear before I'm ready to take it off. it from my patchwork quilt block. It's also a great price compared to the papers that are packaged and sold specifically for FPP. I will say that this is not an identical article by Carol Dokes as some other reviewers have pointed out. It's a little lighter and a little smoother than Carol's paper. So if this paper is jamming in your printer, maybe Carol Doak's slightly thicker paper will suit you better. And I mention the smoother surface of the paper (compared to Carol) because sometimes my ruler slides on smooth paper. If that's an issue for you, Carol's little paper texture might be worth the extra cost. But for my purposes this article is fantastic. I'm glad I found it!
