This is the only non-air-vessel compressor that pulses through your AV at any price. Advertisements don't quite present it for what it is though: it's not the coolest and most affordable compressor out there. It's just as cool as any similar setup, but not cooler. *But* not only is it silent, it's almost invisible when placed on a smooth surface. I run into my closet next to the dehydrator and can barely hear it. Plus, it comes pre-assembled so you don't have to fiddle with the gasket between the regulator and the compressor. Overall a solid product and totally worth the money.
