I saw these great OXO mixing bowls but was a little hesitant to buy them because of the price. But in the end I dared and am very satisfied with this set. I like the colors (I bought the blue/grey set). I like the overall feel. It's way better than my stainless steel bowls, which were functional yet simple. It looks like a premium piece in hand with a nice lip. The bowls have a silicone bottom so they are pretty durable during use which is great. They're easy to clean, which also means pouring things like batter works really well. I wouldn't put them in the dishwasher to clean and I don't think it will ever be necessary to be honest so this should solve all my problems. you can see the rust. I think if you take care of these bowls there will be no problems at all. In general?: Take only these. yes it is expensive Yes, there are cheaper alternatives. But they are so good that you can use them, that cooking is really fun. Excellent goods.
