I would not recommend this product to anyone who has a dog! I did exactly as directed and slowly injected the product into my dog. We applied a small pea-sized amount to my fingertip and allowed my dog to acclimate. She seemed reluctant, but she tried. After about 4 hours she felt nauseous! We only tried toothpaste ONCE! She vomited 6 times throughout the house. I felt so sorry for her because we were just trying to give her clean teeth and this product was poison for her. We are very fed up with her diet and do not deviate from what she likes and she does not eat human food. I thought it was a trusted brand but no. This was immediately thrown in the bin and I can safely say I will never buy any product from this line for my dog ever again.
