I needed a snow scraper for my new car but wanted something with softer bristles that wouldn't scratch the paint. As you can see in my photo the difference between the standard unbranded bristle and this Mallory flag bristle is obvious - Mallory feels much softer and I'm not worried about it scratching the paintwork while - the brand feels very hard and rough. It works and lasts just as well as your standard snow scraper. I wish the head was tilted more like a broom so you can "pull" the snow towards you instead of sweeping it back and forth like that style. This can be uncomfortable for big SUVs, but not a big deal for smaller cars. In general, it is quite suitable for washing a car at an affordable price.
