Love! Love! I love GarlicZoom! Chopping garlic has never been easy or fun. This is how minced meat made from garlic, onions, chili and herbs works. I'm not sure what I like best about this little gadget. Smelling like stinky garlic fingers all night? No burning fingers or eyes from slicing a very hot chilli? Or chop fresh herbs in no time. Anything I can add to GarlicZoom, I zoom in. This is funny! I have a problematic wrist due to an injury and my arm and hand are suffering from nerve damage. I can still increase it. When people ask to help in the kitchen, I give them the job and everyone loves it. They think it's the most elegant little thing. I bought the larger of the two and while it's perfect for its intended purpose, garlic, I wish I had the larger version for onions, chili and herbs when more than a tiny amount is needed. This is great for very finely chopping fresh or dried herbs, just like you would buy at the market. Just make sure your fresh herbs are dry before using them and pack them as tightly as possible. I have other larger choppers but this little guy does a great job of keeping it smooth unlike most choppers and none of the others can get close to the thin ground beef on this one. With a little practice, you can vary from minced meat to small cubes. Did I mention how nice it is not to have burning or smelly garlic fingers? Not enough space? You won't regret letting the little guy take your place. I definitely recommend it. FYI: The knife is still king for overall convenience, PROVIDED that your knife handling skills are up to par. More fun than a knife, this little zoom is great for people who have dexterity issues or are mediocre with a knife. If you have any skills, you will likely be disappointed. For those who complain about garbage. I found no more waste than using a standard garlic press that I can no longer use (medical issues). I hope this helps to avoid disappointment.
