I purchased these to replace the adapters that came with Harbor Freight A/C Manifold Sensors. HF devices do not work reliably. Sometimes they wouldn't let air/gas through. On some vehicles, they didn't work at all because the valve pusher in the middle wasn't long enough or they were installed too high in the assembly. These new adapters work great. They worked every time I plugged them in and are designed to open valves in vehicles where the valve core is deeper in the dash. With the HF version, I would have to pay close attention to whether they are really leaking or whether I am just creating a vacuum in my manifold hoses. These don't have this problem.
