Exactly what I wanted and expected

This stool is exactly what I was looking for! This is a great size for a small living/family room. I need space for my blanket, pillow, fluffy socks. The things I need 'cause I'm hurt But when I'm not in the room, I want to be able to put them away so my living room looks tidy. Another thing I really like is that it becomes the side table that I can put my water, Kindle, Kindle phone, and lotion on. .everything i need is right next to me. The footrest is a great bonus! I put it in front of a wooden rocking chair. This is the perfect foot height, your feet are not too high and they are soft. It smells very light, and I mean really light. I'm sensitive to smells and it doesn't bother me. However, I did put a small bowl of baking soda in it. I'll leave it for a few days. I have wood floors and I noticed that the ottoman and footstool slide very smoothly and quietly. Sitting in my chair I wanted the ottoman to be closer and very easy to move. No squeaks, no scratches. Very happy with it. I love mine so much I suggested my 19 year old son get one for his room. He tried the stool and liked it. He is approximately 5ft 9 inches tall and 175 years old, sitting comfortably on both the stool and ottoman. In front of his futon is the battered old ottoman I asked him to get rid of. After seeing mine he bought a bonus set for him, it really goes with his room and he gets a cool ottoman.
