Review on ๐Ÿ”Œ BHTOP MMA 160 Digital Electrode Welding Machine by Edgar Rowe

Very hot 110 amp welder, no disappointments

I bought this unit because of the handle, some units have a shoulder strap. I feel pain in my butt while moving the welder. Happy to be pissed off in zero seconds. This is me. Height and weight are ideal factors. Mig torches accept standard tips and cones. I just used the filler wire that came with it. Wrap a 2 inch bead around 2 pieces of metal bed frame. Very beautiful and planetary powerful. Then I tried the stick half of the welder. I drove a stick 1/16 6013 to the max and boiled the metal. I then knitted a 1/8 6013 rod that was a few years old. At a setting of 110 my 20 amp circuit breaker burns out, nothing works in it. I turned it down to 100 settings to keep the weld from burning through. It was too hot. It gurgled on the other side. I turned the welder down to 80 and got a nice weld. Very satisfied. A controller adjusts the amplifiers for the stick. The same is known to set a large temperature and speed. This type of welder really takes the guesswork out of setting speed and amperage. The second knob allows you to fine tune the amplifier for the welder. Just follow the ground wire drawing for flux or arc welding. This device is intended for use in a household or in a shop. I was very pleased about that. The welds looked great. The machine came with a second toothed wire feed wheel. I think for solid wire. Smooth is designed for flux core. I might be wrong. I have an HF inverter. Good unit. Shoulder straps have always annoyed me. If I had to compare two welders. I say it's made by some company. Many parts, how many. I bought this part because I assumed the parts were the same. I change the cord through the side door rather than the top cover like the HF. How long this welder will last is anyone's guess. Seriously for the price you can't go wrong.
