A short hose with quick coupling makes it easy to check the system pressure on the low pressure side without an elbow. It also makes venting easier when used without an oil capsule. An additional pressure gauge is useful to monitor the pressure in the tank when filling or restoring. The pressure gauge can be removed from the blue hose T-piece when worn. CONS: The blue hose uses cheap compression fittings on a tee for metering. The hose is made of inferior hard plastic. The included faucet can be a pierced faucet instead of a reusable faucet.
