My kit was missing one of the couplers so no comment on performance yet. But the disappointment of not having a part mid-fit, having to call and send it back with questionable delivery times has already ruined my opinion of the product. For over $300, expect the highest quality quality assurance, packaging, and instructions. The instructions had pathetic, grainy photos like an old climbing manual, all the screws thrown together so you had to measure them and check the parts list to make sure you were using the right gear in the right place. I seriously doubt the difference in performance between this kit and a regular kit at a fraction of the cost.
