They smell like vinyl. Other people had trouble applying

For those wondering what material they are made of, they smell like vinyl. Other people had issues with the app, but I took my time. Preinstalled as described. I used my own rubbing alcohol (just to make sure it's well prepared). I applied the smaller one first and attached the larger one to align for a perfect fit. Looks great!
