I definitely recommend buying, I didnt notice any disadvantages.

A very handy thing, especially considering the possibilities of use. Due to the remote sensor on the wire, it can be used both as an external and internal thermometer, as a thermometer (it will show the temperature in about a minute), as a water thermometer, measure the temperature of the air flow, etc.
One minus is no backlight.
