Sizing socks and underwear is quite confusing. I mean seriously, when are manufacturers going to start making sizes that match shoe size or pant size? And want to order online because rummaging through open bags that once resided in department store frozen foods just isn't your idea of a good time? Well, I think you're in danger if you do, and you're in danger if you don't! My two youngest boys are a couple of years old and definitely wear different sizes, but they are so close together that we all get confused all too easily. For ease of laundering, I keep the older garments solid color/white and the younger ones with bright icons/patterns. To get them fit for the new school year, I tried to just order "one size bigger" because I notice that they're both collecting a little more than they used to. Well shit. How the heck do you decide what size to order? You click on the size grid and you get measurements for the legs or chest, but I needed underwear! Or all in SM. HELLO! I apologize that my American educational system saw fit to only teach me measurements in inches. I'm not stupid, but I just have a completely zero frame of reference for what the heck a length in cm looks like! Above all, to make an informed purchase decision based on this simply useless information. Perhaps we can teach foreign sellers that "in Rome do as the Romans do"? I spend hours looking at reviews just like you. "Someone take a picture! Show me the actual size charts dammit!” Then I go through the questions/answers, yes! Someone else says they have a baby my baby's size, maybe this will work for them! Well I have to tell you. it did not work! My 9 year old wears a size 10 jean. He is tall and lanky but not for the skinny. Mine is 7 years old, just turned 7 and is somewhere between 7-8 jeans. Based on that, I settled on a pack of white Hanes tights in a size 10 (they call them a medium) and this Avengers Handcraft Marvel panty set in a size 8. even bigger than Hanes' size 10! Aha! No, I won't save her until he's grown. This single mom of four has a full-time career and I don't have time to take care of the extra crap that's gathering dust around my house. So it's coming back. And hours of my life are wasted between searching the web, sending it back and reordering the size I seem to really need, and writing that damn forgotten review. I hope that at least my pictures comparing Hanes measurements to these things will help someone else avoid this mistake. Now I'm going back to my job with the crap nobody deals with when life is about having it all, career, family and blah blah blah blah. Pooh
