Used on a trailer. Be careful as the tube of this lock is wider than the usual ones. This is great for added security but does not fit all lock holes and in some cases will not fit in the hole due to its position. Please consider this before purchasing. It didn't fit the U-Haul trailer I originally assembled, but U-Haul was able to replace the trailer with another on the spot when I brought the padlock in to check. It will fit some U-Box locks (newer) but not others because the hole in the clasp on the box is too narrow. Otherwise this lock is solid, performed well on my 2,000+ mile (PEI) trip from Canada to Colorado in the rain/snow, and works smoothly when locking/unlocking.
