First about things that just don't matter (very much). 1) Looks good. This is a retro design but looks very chic. 2) It works like any toaster. In fact, there are no difficulties with this. Just plug it in, set the dials, squeeze the levers, and you'll be toasting toast. Where the proverbial rubber meets the road, it's like any other toaster. It just doesn't do what it's supposed to. It doesn't toast evenly on both sides - just like any other toaster. If you like your toast the way you like your Jedi, on the dark side (like me) then, like any other toaster, you need to push the lever back down. But...because it can't toast anything evenly, you'll need to flip the bread before the second dip, just like any other toaster. I don't understand why it is so difficult to design a toaster that toasts the food evenly and perfectly every time, why is it so difficult?!
