After much research I bought TTPet Inground/Overground Pet System, Electric Dog Fence. Wow what a great machine. Our 100+ pound dog loves to jump the fence in our yard and end up breaking boards. We received it and within 3 days it stopped. Pros: - It has 3 levels. Only beep, beep and light hit, beep with strong hit. I like it because the other fence units are just Beep and/or Shock. We started with a big shock, went to a light shock and now we're just beeping. No more broken fence boards - can be used above or below ground. Our fence stands about 6 inches off the ground. It comes with 700 feet of wire! Correct 700 feet. I really liked it because if I want to move or change the border I have a wire to do it. - Has a rechargeable battery. Note. Other fences I've looked at require changing the battery or charging the collar at the base station. With this device, you can charge it at the base station, but since it has a USB charging cable, you can charge it anywhere. That's good because our base unit is at the other end of the courtyard. I can charge a dog collar at home. Customer service was great. They came back to me quickly. I was curious and asked her about extra collars for our other dog. Which brings me to my final point: you can buy as many collars as you want for as many dogs as you like. They can ALL work with the same base unit and cable edge. Cons: - It's my fault. I had to buy two collars. I do not think so. If I were you I would buy a dual collar device even if you had a dog. You can charge one collar while the other is on your dog. I want the collar to be reflective. It's not a big deal. The collar block can be removed and attached to a different collar if desired. You can't go wrong with this system.
