I received a set of these radios with my Motorola T600 radios to use when my wife and I drove in different cars. because the volume was very low even when cranked to the max, but also because the sound quality was terrible. We couldn't hear each other at all and found they only worked in ideal quiet conditions. If there's noise around you, good luck hearing everything you can really make out. As many have said here, the mic is in a very awkward position along the cable, which doesn't make sense. Either it's close to your neck and the radio is on your belt or higher, or the radio is lower and the mic is far from your neck.
