Firstly I'm a big Moog fan. Nascar parts are mine No better than OEM in opinion/problem solving) I just rebuilt my truck's entire front suspension with almost all Moog parts.I also bought almost all Moog parts for my G8 GXP (128,000 per car.a collectible according to Hagerty.Material is hard plastic and wrong top or bottom diameter for front or rear struts. As a GXP, I replace the FE3 front struts with FE3 struts and they still don't fit. They CAN be quite long once the coil is pressed and installed, but the Diameter doesn't match the ch top or bottom. For rear I use Caprice struts as FE3 struts aren't available but this product doesn't fit either old no new. It's not even close to the same design. The G8 GT should be fitted with FE2 struts and I believe use the same bellows sizes as me so you end up in the same situation I am in right now. I think the V6 G8 uses FE1 struts, which probably puts you in the same boat as well. Cherry on the cake, the foam bumpers aren't nearly the right size either. No part of this product will fit the Pontiac G8 O5ne again, big Moog fan here, but these are NOT the parts you need for the G8. As for the back, I would suggest only cleaning the existing covers if they are intact. I currently have replacement AC-Delco front-only bellows but am not sure if they are also plastic due to the poor product description.
