Review on Epoxy Resin Crystal Clear 1 Gallon Kit - Food Safe, Bar Table Top, Wood, Art, Jewelry, Super Gloss Resin for Casting, Coating & Deep Pouring by Todd Look

I received this product for review. I've been using resin for over a year. When I started I tried about 3 different ones before settling on the brand I use now. Considering I received this for free in exchange for a review, I wanted to make sure I made some of my best selling items to compare their quality. The picture of the finished letters is a comparison of one letter cast with Zdsticky and another cast with a different high quality resin. As you can see there is very little difference. What I noticed: 1. Part A is quite thick and dense, which I've never experienced before. After mixing with Part B, it creates WAY more bubbles than I'm used to working with. Note. The second time I tried it, I made sure to slowly pour the B mixture into the A and stir VERY slowly, which helped avoid more bubbles. 2. As with any resin, placing the container in warm water for 5-10 minutes will remove as many bubbles as possible. While this is true of this resin as well, after pouring I still had a few bubbles that were surprisingly harder to remove than my current brand, even with a blow dryer and toothpick. I have also found that using this resin heating method with Zdsticky saved me about 10 minutes of work time.3. The odor of this resin is VERY strong, so wear protective clothing as always.4. The curing time of my products was about 24 hours.5. The bubbles are imperceptible when you use the pigment to mix with the resin.6. Using a resin polish REALLY makes this resin shine so beautifully! The transparency of the resin, when not mixed with pigment, is VERY transparent (with the exception of a few bubbles, which nonetheless do not detract from the overall beauty of a piece). Overall I am VERY happy with this resin and appreciate the opportunity to give my honest review. I will definitely keep using it and think it deserves 5 stars.
