I know what I'm doing. So if the readers of this story tell me that you abused it or fed wood too slowly or anything else, you are dead wrong. A piece of white oak appears to have snapped the corner of a small router bit, causing the vibration and cracking that occurs when a bit is old and needs sharpening. This one was brand new out of the box. I've had to run multiple passes on a variable speed router with no issues. But it wasn't there. At first I thought it was my fault, but after a few more tries, additional adjustments and tightening, everything is the same. Haven't tried a bigger piece yet as I don't need it right now, but I can only assume it will do the same. Be careful, overspend and buy a better brand. No, I wouldn't recommend these bits unless you just don't care and don't want to buy even more expensive wood to replace what ruined the tool!
