These are stainless, like any good silverware. The etching and coloring are attractive and seem durable. These are your basic Chinese Square style chopsticks if that is what you are looking for. If you are looking for a flatter Korean style chopstick, look elsewhere. With that said, these are attractive, durable, and rust/stain resistant (almost stain proof). Easy 5 stars.

Enhanced laser etching on the stainless steel tips makes the metal chopsticks easier to grip food and better anti-slip. The square-shaped metal chopsticks are easy to use and more comfortable to hold. Square shaped chopsticks do not roll in your hand, nor do they roll when placed on a table like round metal reusable chopsticks and spiral shaped chopsticks.
- The laser engraving may make it difficult to see any food residue on the utensils
