Review on CQR CQ MZT01 BLK_M Tactical Assurance Webbing by Jake Solorzano

Good but weak: tree stands, blinds and accessories

Bought this CQR belt because of the width. It's only 1.5 inches. Not much compared to the 1.75", but a big difference when it comes to use with different sized belt loops. And my phone case can be opened without undoing the strap. Also, the plastic buckle comes in handy when passing through metal detectors. No need to shoot! Love it. Amazing price. Under $10 can't be beat. So far so good but the belt feels very flimsy. It's not as hard and high quality as a standard army. It feels lethargic and skinny. I have a Tru Spec 1.75" belt. Same as the standard army. The Tru Spec feels more solid and robust than the CQR. Maybe because it's 0.25 cm wider? Not sure (see photo). I will update and post if I notice any fraying due to buckle wear. UPDATE: It's too weak after a few days of use. It's like nylon tape around your waste. Unless you really tighten it, I definitely wouldn't put a gun holster on it. I don't think that's tactful. Not stiff or durable, but good enough for everyday use.

Pros
  • Useful for more than it's intended purpose
Cons
  • Weak set
