Review on Protective Travel Storage Bag for Fluke 87-V Digital Multimeter - COMECASE Hard Carrying Case by Tony Addis

Good price as needed

I have had both the Fluke 87 (original model) and 87V for many years. I no longer work as a field technician so these are home lab counters now. The original Field Cases are too big and bulky for my current needs, so I bought a couple of them. So here is my review of these little cases. This is a fabric covered hard case. In a secure environment such as the home or lab, it protects your Fluke 87 (original or modern loaded) and any similar sized gauge. It offers ample space for long cables and their accessories with a soft braid and a zip pocket to keep them from scratching the front of the device. The main zipper is nylon, but it's a high-quality nylon that won't fray or deteriorate with light wear or heavy use. If you consistently use your meter in harsh or harsh environments, then this case will quickly fall apart. It's great for home storage or occasional use in the lab, as it's light enough to move around your workbench or in a desk drawer. But tool trolleys, bags and boxes are not suitable in this case. They should last the life of the meter in the situations listed above. It's worth it for its price.
