Review on Enhance Vehicle Performance with Actron CP7802 Vacuum and Fuel Pressure Tester Kit by Derrick Lowell

I bought this to test the vacuum pump on my diesel GMC. When delivered, the counter was not set to zero when idle. and there is no adjustment All things are relative. I used a manometer. During the first tests, the pressure gauge jumped erratically and the reading was lower than expected. I assumed the fittings that came with it weren't the right size for my vacuum hoses: and I bought several different sized barbs and tees. On the next round of testing (now with the right size fittings) the needle was rock hard but still under spec. It didn't take long to find a crack in the hose leading to the bypass valve. Nice little tool that saved me a pack too. in the shop; or repair in parts alone DYI It's a shame for the counter with zer0 Considering that; and if the fittings provided were more versatile and compatible with a wider range of hose sizes this rating would be 5 stars instead of 3
