saved me money - pressure and vacuum tester

Bought, made my own, saved a lot of money. Great little tool to keep on hand just in case. Very good for the price. If I worked on cars a lot I would have bought the better version but as I will only be using it a couple of times it was great for the price!

Pros
  • Includes hose and adapter
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Inexpensive troubleshooting tool

Fuel Pressure Range 0-15psi suitable for non-electric fuel pumps but not high enough for electric fuel pumps should be 0-45 be psi. or higher. Otherwise, a decent value for most do-it-yourselfers. The main reason for this purchase was to replace my old vacuum gauge - it worked great for diagnosing a partially blocked catalytic converter.

Pros
  • Vacuum and Fuel Pressure Tester is easy to read and has a 2-1/2 white area
Cons
  • ---

A MUST HAVE in a pressure and vacuum tester

An excellent item, an absolute must for any garden mechanic. Shocked and surprised at how necessary this adjustment is - everything matters. Our old 72 dart went from barely running to running like a dream, if I hadn't had this tool I wouldn't have fired it so WELL! Connected to manifold vacuum line and 2 mixing valves set to draw 19 liters of mercury. This is the video result.

Pros
  • Used to check fuel pump pressure
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

does the job. The best diagnostic, testing and measuring tools

I bought this to test the vacuum on a '74 Plymouth Duster with 360 and got aggressive. I had bad vacuum, so I used that to set ignition timing by ear. Increasing the time gave me more vacuum and this was evident as I watched the arrow increase. I have this tool in action on YouTube. You will see that the needle is quite elastic. I don't know if it's a tool or just my motor. I need to time and curve my MSD stick spreader even better. Here is the link to the video: [.]

Pros
  • Checks the mechanical condition of the engine and the function of the vacuum control
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Good sensor; POOR CONNECTIONS

I bought this to test the vacuum pump on my diesel GMC. When delivered, the counter was not set to zero when idle. and there is no adjustment All things are relative. I used a manometer. During the first tests, the pressure gauge jumped erratically and the reading was lower than expected. I assumed the fittings that came with it weren't the right size for my vacuum hoses: and I bought several different sized barbs and tees. On the next round of testing (now with the right size fittings) the…

Pros

  • Cleanliness
