Due to increasing work from home, I had to move away from his main office when my kids returned from kindergarten and wanted don't take all your equipment with you. I have a portable monitor (Asus MB16A) that is great for travel but is not ideally placed in terms of ergonomics, which started hurting my neck and upper back if I looked down at an angle all day. It was surprisingly difficult to find a stand that can hold a 15.6 inch monitor, but luckily I came across this one. The larger clip is perfect for my portable monitor (when it's almost fully extended) and easily elevates my screen. enough to offer a smoother viewing angle. The product itself is pretty good, the aluminum base is well made and strong, it has soft rubberized feet to keep it stable and not scratch the antique reel. top I use it in my backup office. The clip fits snugly, despite appearing to be made entirely of plastic, which doesn't detract from efficiency, but it doesn't feel super classy either. The clip has rubber bumpers on each end that grip well and won't damage my monitor. The smaller clamp which I haven't used yet but looks about the same as the larger one. All in all it's perfect for my needs and I would recommend it.
