Review on MiLocks TKK-02OB: High-Security Digital Door Knob Lock for Interior Doors, Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish by Tony Trotter

Package arrived on time for our week long vacation. However, I could not complete the last assembly step because, despite all efforts, the bolts could not be screwed into the striker plate (see picture). So frustrating! I called customer service the next day during business hours but no one answered my call except for a voicemail directing me to send a 'claim email'. Did this and got a reply email: New installation kit will arrive in 2 days. It sounded good except without a lock on our garage door we would be on vacation! When I returned a week later, I found a package with a new strike plate in the mailbox. This time it was easy to install. It turned out that the original thread is too small for the screws, obviously a manufacturing defect. Without the quick exchange I would have given the product 1 star. The product was shipped with a large red "Do Not Return" sign (see image), which is an ominous sign of widespread returns due to product issues.
