Saddle up and drive off! at Sports

I've had just over a month to ride the WTB Volt Narrow Steel Black saddle (W065-0584). I decided to upgrade my 12 year old standard Bontrager saddle. I chose steel because of the price and have never bought or ridden a WTB saddle. I went to the WTB website and used the tool there to enter my physical information to determine what saddle size would be best for me. My first impression when I received the saddle was that it looked good and was well made. The all-black microfiber finish looks crisp, especially with the subtle logo overlay. There were no issues with the stitching or construction. When riding, I immediately noticed that I became more stable in the saddle, especially when lowering the power. As I rode the steeper hills and really started spinning them, I felt a lot more comfortable in the Volt than I did in my old saddle. So far I haven't had any problems with buttock pain or any discomfort from the saddle. I rode the rides over 2 hours, doubles, singles and downhills. Overall I am very happy with the WTB Volt. As long as it lasts I would have no problem spending more on one of the more expensive saddles made with lighter rails (chromoly or titanium, maybe not $200+ carbon). Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I hope it was helpful to you.
