As expected from KitchenAid it's well built, powerful and easy to use. It's more than expected, but that's ok. One issue is that I noticed that after use, washing (leave in a glass of soapy water) and drying, the blending blade assembly would continue to drain water while the blades still remained in an upright position. Apparently water seeps through the shaft and then drains slowly when stored upright (fins down). In other words, there isn't much sealing around the blade shaft just above the blade. Doesn't look very hygienic.
