The Medium was ideal for fairly large Dalmatian Bloodhound puppies aged 3 weeks and with room to grow. The problem is that the color has faded after 6 weeks. Pink and red look the same from a distance. White, gray and brown are now exactly the same color and I can't tell them apart at all. Yellow and light green will become the same color in a few days. I guess I can order replacements every few weeks and send them back. At 6 weeks old the puppies take them off each other fairly quickly and once the collar is off it seems to come loose easier. We wanted detachable collars because of the rose bushes, but now they are easy to remove.
