Review on Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 225/65 R17 102S winter by Mateusz Jamroz ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

A front-wheel-drive Tiguan. For a very long time, I like the winter season, and as a result, I favored two pairs of breeches: the Blizzak DM-V2 and the VRX. After hearing numerous complaints that the road was not maintained, the latter was abandoned. This was the first shoe without studs. Previous competitors were Pirelli and Nordman. Chose to give it a go. In December, we stopped by a tire shop to chat with the young owner, who enthusiastically proclaimed this particular model to be the market leader. I swapped the seasons and gave it a try; I couldn't believe it at first! Everything became buried in a foot of snow. In the summer, while going to a tire fitting, I slipped multiple times despite their being no powder but rather white loaches along the Hong Kong Ring Road. I walked out of the tire store and saw a thick blanket of snow. We were easily able to pull back. It was imperative that I put in considerable riding time on the first day of ownership, and I was not disappointed. By nightfall, the roads were wet from the melting snow. There's a lot of summer gear in the trunk in the back, plus two car seats in the same spot. There are no potholes, and the ride is pleasant. I was in disbelief after the first day. A surprise. I hope to analyze their performance on the track in January. They're predicting snow and negative temperatures; time will tell!

Pros
  • Road-holding ability: 5; noise level: 0; The number of gallons of gas used has not increased significantly since the summer; Exhibits self-assurance in icy and damp conditions; Quality at a reasonable cost.
Cons
  • There are no flaws that I have found as of yet. Eventually, I might even eat.
