I'm not a knitter but my best friend. I got her this for Christmas after she mentioned it as a 'dream' set. I know nothing about knitting, but from the way she sparked fire upon opening it and then methodically went through every detail, studying and explaining how perfect it was for her needs as a knitter, I knew it was a good choice. She particularly liked that the needles were very light (something to reduce fatigue during long sessions?) and that different length cords could be connected to create longer cords. for everything it does. Again, I don't know anything about knitting, but my hobby is crafting and looking at the details that went into it, I can say it's REALLY well done. no hard edges anywhere. Smooth and finely worked. I think it's useful for preventing yarn tangles (like my friend said) and I admire the quality of these pieces. Although I have no idea what they are used for.
