My iPhone X is stuck
I like this design because I can just put my phone on the bottom feet and automatically pull the top feet to hold the phone in place. The top rubber feet add a lot of friction and the phone remains pretty solid. Also, the phone doesn't bother the volume button at all. I have a ring holder on the back so thickness might be an issue. What I did was stretch the rubber feet a bit so they were deep enough to hold the phone.
