Good product; unusual odor
I originally bought these to use as oven mitts. You seem overqualified for the job, which is amazing. They're a little chunkier than I was hoping for, but they're also much better insulated than I expected. When I opened the packaging I noticed a distinct strange smell and the label said do not wash. I'm not entirely sure if these gloves are really safe around food so I'm now hesitant to use them as oven mitts or in the kitchen at all. But they seem like great gloves. I guess I need to learn how to weld things so I have an excuse to use them.
