These work great: my feedback

I built a custom kitchen wall cabinet, with a pop out granite covered shelf just under the microwave oven, and I needed something to keep the shelf flush, but still be able to make it pop out. I installed one of these latches, and with a slight touch, the shelf pops out about 3 inches. Now I can pull the shelf out the full 12 inches, and when done, with a slight touch, the latch locks in the closed position, and keeps the shelf closed ready for the next time the shelf is needed. Works great.

Pros

These worked perfectly for my cabinets and seem to be very sturdy construction.

Cons

Installation may cause damage to the cabinet or door if not done carefully
