Review on 👕 Large Blue Gen 5 Ride Safer Travel Vest by Carlos Whitfield

My 5 year old husband is 41# and 42" tall and enjoys this. We took it to Central America and had no luck in some rental cars - no ratcheting seat belts, no LATCH belt for the forward-facing seats. But this thing is still installed correctly, as per the manufacturer's requirements! It fits and is comfortable for my child. We've used it both between two hard shell car seats and on the outside with a middle and outer car seat. We do not use this vest as a permanent home security device. Sleeping on long journeys is uncomfortable and my child can't see out the window either. My child was almost fully able to put it on and buckle it up with the seat belt, but I still helped put it on and checked that the belt routing was correct. We can't wait for it to be approved for airplanes. In any case, we will buy another one for the next younger child when they reach the required weight.
