we have four dogs. I bought two packs of 4 in case I needed an extra to tie the two together for our largest dog, but it wasn't necessary. They fit all four of our dogs ranging from the 28lb Border Collie to the 100lb Labrador/St. Bernard Mix. Good size and quality. If you are buying a dog over 100lbs you may need to tie 2 together.
