I've had the mouse for pretty much exactly 10 months and it's too worn out to use seriously, I'm an avid gamer but it hasn't touched that my desk has been abused has been treated or spilled on it and has slight bulges on the plastic top and discoloration of the color where I move the mouse a lot (the gray design rubs off and creates white spots). It really doesn't show any wear and it still looks great, but the bumps and bumps that come with regular use rendered it almost unusable for gaming. I had my last mouse pad for 9 years or more and have come back to it as it is flatter (this is a mouse pad as a gift from an advertising company that no longer exists and it is more of a cloth material FYI) First of all it is cheap and good, but I wouldn't buy it again.
