I'm just starting to learn how to work with watercolors and watercolor pencils. I've found that other papers I've used tend to warp when you apply the first coat of water. This paper doesn't warp at all, I have provided pictures of the front and back of the paper after practicing on it. It was incredibly strong and allowed the watercolor to flow naturally. It has a beautiful pleated pattern that "pops out" when water is applied, adding great texture to your watercolor paintings. This crumpled look also delays your watercolor a bit so it doesn't bleed into ugly streaks. The texture is very thin and does not affect the appearance. Since I didn't use the whole sheet, I cut it to size so I could practice on the rest later. Because this paper is thick and strong, it only contains 12 sheets, but is the standard thickness expected of a paper notepad. I would recommend this paper for watercolors, it's durable despite the use of water and watercolors and the texture means your colors won't bleed.
