Review on πŸ”§ FloTool F3NC 3.5 GPM: Efficient Non-Conductive Fuel Filter for Optimal Performance by Nick Narvasa

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Basically fine. Choose carefully based on your application.

Tool OK, but only OK. If you've been working with fuel from a contaminated source this can be a good tool, but with a generally clean fuel you just have to be very careful as it has a few downsides. The mechanism for separating the water is simply to have a well that is deeper than required to drain it. As a result, the water settles to the bottom and must be drained. If your fuel doesn't have water in it, there will be about 1/4 pint of gas left in the well that will also need to be drained or disposed of. It filters fast and usually works as advertised, but it's not the right tool for my application.

Pros
  • Ideal for generators, small lawn and garden equipment and electrical appliances
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...
