Review on 🎧 Bose A20 Aviation Headset with 6-Pin Plug Cable, Standard Black by Zachary Benjamin

I switched from a Telex 850 in the cockpit of a Boeing 737 to a Bose A20. I didn't get the instant satisfaction I was expecting because it took me a full day to get used to the incredibly strange and unfamiliar feeling of almost complete silence in the cockpit between radio transmissions. After making sure everything was fine. Marvelous. I underestimated the importance of not missing/understanding the radio and intercom. Being able to clearly hear and understand ATC and the other pilot greatly improves situational awareness. Good product! However, for five stars, I think the following minor issues should be addressed: Another pilot's use of a hot mic on the intercom transmits low level white background noise that is not Bose suppressed noise. A hot microphone on an intercom will cause the Bluetooth Mix setting to permanently mute Bluetooth audio. The case is much smaller than the old Bose X headset cases, so it takes extra time to neatly arrange the headset and cables to close it.
