Bought to make a Scarlett out of a Shure 7b. It works but not enough for 7b.

Signal started at -40dB, rose to -30dB with Cloud. Did what it promised but didn't fix the 7b issue so I'm not sure why anyone would use it. I ended up getting more professional and bought a DBX line preamp which worked straight away. 7b is so smooth it really needs a professional amp to increase the clarity. Crazy. Buy a better mic or you need a better preamp like me.
