I've only used it for a few hours but so far I'm impressed. The ring holder is solid and looks pretty solid. I thought it was all plastic rings but it's not. There is a metal reinforcement inside the plastic ring stand. This provides a fairly solid footing and also gives you a lot of confidence that your device is being held securely in your hand. It also offers the most vertical mounting (both horizontal and vertical) I've seen from these ring stands. There is not an iota of frivolity in this. In addition, it is quite flexible and 360 degree rotation is easy and versatile. And as advertised, it stays securely in the car's air vent.
