I've used snaps that look like a little disc that pops out of the back of the phone and none of them feel as durable as this ring. Poppers require you to pinch the disc stem between two fingers, and due to the phone's weight, this is starting to strain your fingers. I love that I can use a finger inserted into the ring for support, switch fingers and rotate the ring myself for comfort and fit so there is no strain on either finger. I've only used it for a few hours but so far I'm impressed. The ring holder is solid and looks pretty solid. I thought it was all plastic rings but it's not. There is a metal reinforcement inside the plastic ring stand. This provides a fairly solid footing and also gives you a lot of confidence that your device is being held securely in your hand. It also offers the most vertical mounting (both horizontal and vertical) I've seen from these ring stands. There is not an iota of frivolity in this.

What I have to say about this holder is that the adhesive on the back is a good thing from 3M. Once it's turned on, it's not going anywhere, so get it right the first time! The main problems with this holder are these: constantly putting your phone in and out of your pocket makes this thing a pain. It hangs in the pocket and is inconvenient to handle. Very nice rose gold color but not as durable as I was hoping. It doesn't stand upright like I prefer. I used the horizontal portrait position and it looks better. I'm hoping it performs better in car air vents for at least a few months, but I don't expect it to last much longer as the fastener moves in and out of the air vent. Wouldn't buy again at this point.
