Replaced a fouled catalytic converter in our Equinox and thought it would make sense to replace both O2 sensors at the same time. Within 2 weeks the upstream O2 sensor failed causing the engine to not run, fouling the spark plugs and reducing fuel economy to 13mpg (from 26mpg). Luckily I don't throw anything away so the original sensors that I removed stayed on the shelf. I replaced the old top sensor back and the engine runs great up to 26mpg. I would advise buying OE branded sensors and staying away from this junk.
