When I received this tip I was impressed with the packaging. In addition to the usual plastic envelope, it came in a sturdy cardboard box sealed with "factory" Yonico tape. I think this is to show that it hasn't been tampered with(?). Unfortunately, despite the fact that the packaging indicated the correct bit was being sent (13/64"), the markings on the bit itself indicated it was 1/4". The drill bit size was confirmed (using digital calipers) as 1/4", which made it unusable for me. I wanted to use it to create grooves and grooves for 1/4" plywood. I have two undersized bits for this purpose that are still too big (dry climate). I preferred this Amana bit because it has a 1/2" shank (which makes changing bits faster on my router table). Both brands have thoughtfully specified the cutting diameter directly on the cutter, which I find extremely useful (why don't all manufacturers do this?). I have purchased several Yonico bits in the past for non-critical uses with good effect. However, this quality control error will cost me several valuable production days as there are no local sources for this unusual bit size. I'm sure you'll all agree that I'd rather spend $3 more and spend time replacing the collet than wasting precious manufacturing time As for my rating: I'm sure the bit will work just as well as it did the other bits (which was surprisingly good given the price) but as it is not what I ordered it came in a "factory sealed" box which clearly contained the wrong item and has ruined my progress, I can't say very happy. draw luck? Maybe, but I don't intend to risk it again in the future.
